Isabelle Meltzer placed 31st out of 39 competitors to pace the Bates women's golf team at the NESCAC Championship, held Friday through Sunday at Yahnundasis Golf Club.
Meltzer (Summit, N.J.) also had the low individual round of the tournament for Bates, shooting an 83 on Friday. She followed up with an 84 on Saturday and an 85 on Sunday. Sophomore
Mehar Nijjer (Chandigarh, India) shot an 84 on Friday, the only other Bobcat to break 85 in a round on the weekend. She finished in 36th place, 15 strokes back of Meltzer.
The Bobcats finished in eighth place overall with a three-day score of 1099.
The NESCAC Women's Golf Championship is the final tournament of the spring for the Bobcats.
