LEWISTON, Maine -- Bates College men's squash wrapped up the home portion of its 2024-25 schedule Saturday as #24 Bates College took on #15 Colby in an eventual 6-3 win for the Mules.
Prior to competition, the Bobcats celebrated the collegiate contributions of their four seniors:
Labeeb Ali,
Max Good,
Harris Ramlee, and
Alec Spiro.
Good, playing at the No. 9 position, closed out his final home contest with a 3-0 victory vs. Colby's Oliver Riordan (11-7, 11-4, 11-6). First-year
Ryan Kim topped Sebastian Campos at No. 6 in four games (11-7, 11-8, 6-11, 11-7) while sophomore
Maks Celm bested Avery Rosenberg, 3-1 (11-4, 11-6, 9-11, 15-13).
The Mules move to 9-6 with the victory while the garnet and white, with a fourth-straight setback, slides to 4-10 overall.
The Bobcats will now remain idle until Friday, Feb. 28 when Bates competes in the CSA Divisional Team Championships in Philadelphia, Pa.
