BANGOR, Maine – Bates College volleyball got back on track Tuesday night with a decisive 3-0 (25-8, 25-8, 25-19) victory at Husson University, snapping a four-match losing streak.
The Bobcats (7-6) hit an efficient .368 as a team and controlled the match from start to finish, limiting the Eagles (3-12) to a negative hitting percentage in the first two sets.
Anaïs Reneaum (So.) recorded six kills with .500 attack percentages to lead a balanced Bates offense.
Ami Evans (Sr.) added six kills and four service aces, while
Jaime Bartley-Cohen (Fy.) also tallied six kills and eight digs.
Bella Lomet (Sr.) posted a season-high five kills in the road win.
Setter
Nora Gilmer (So.) directed the attack with 17 assists, while
Lauren Croom (So.) chipped in 13 helpers and five digs.
Bella Lomet (Sr.) posted five kills and a block assist. The Bobcats finished with 11 service aces as a team.
Bates returns to NESCAC play this Friday with a 7:00 p.m. home match scheduled vs. Connecticut College.
