Gwyn Jamison snapped a scoreless tie with just 53 ticks remaining (89:07) Saturday afternoon as Bates College women's soccer upended Connecticut College, 1-0, to secure a key conference triumph.
Winning their first game away from campus this season, the signature win puts the Bobcats at 5-6-1 on the year (2-6 NESCAC) while the Camels slide to 5-7 (2-5 NESCAC).
Alter now ties teammate
Isabelle Bernal for the program lead with three goals on the season while Jamieson collects her first assist this fall. Conn. College posted a 17-12 (8-4 on frame) advantage in the shot column despite the outcome.
