HADLEY, Mass. -- Bates women's basketball senior captain
Meghan Graff has been named first team All-NESCAC for the second straight year, as announced Thursday by the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
Graff (South Portland, Maine) finished the season with 495 points, the second-most in one season in Bates women's basketball history. Her 1,645 career points are an all-time record for Bobcat women's hoops and the fourth-most in the history of the NESCAC.
A D3hoops.com Preseason First Team All-American, Graff averaged 20.6 points per game this season, the second-most in the NESCAC and the 20th most in the country.
Graff also dished out 55 assists on the season and tallied a team-high 29 steals.
Graff was a second team All-NESCAC selection as a sophomore, and the NESCAC Player of the Year and a D3hoops.com Second Team All-American as a junior, after leading the Bobcats to the program's first conference title. She was recently named the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year for her accomplishments this season.
Some of Graff's top performances in 2022-23 included 44 points on 17-29 shooting at eventual NESCAC champion Tufts, 33 points on 12-22 shooting in a win over Colby, 28 points on 12-19 shooting in a win over Saint Joseph's, and 22 points in a win over then No. 12 nationally ranked Trinity.
