LEWISTON, Maine -- Bates women's basketball senior captain Meghan Graff is a first team All-Region selection for the second straight season, as announced Tuesday by D3hoops.com.

Graff (South Portland, Maine) adds to her collection of awards this season, with the All-Region honor coming on the heels of being named first team All-NESCAC and the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year. 

She finished the season with 495 points, the second-most in one season in Bates women's basketball history. Her 1,645 career points are an all-time record for Bobcat women's hoops and the fourth-most in the history of the NESCAC.

A D3hoops.com Preseason First Team All-American, Graff averaged 20.6 points per game this season, the second-most in the NESCAC and the 20th most in the country. Graff also dished out 55 assists on the season and tallied a team-high 29 steals. 

Some of Graff's top performances in 2022-23 included 44 points on 17-29 shooting at eventual NESCAC champion Tufts, 33 points on 12-22 shooting in a win over Colby, 28 points on 12-19 shooting in a win over Saint Joseph's, and 22 points in a win over then No. 12 nationally ranked Trinity.

This is the 22nd year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 26th annual All-America selections. The D3hoops.com All-American teams, along with those of the respective coaches' associations, are the only ones recognized in the NCAA record book.

The D3hoops.com women's All-America team will be announced on a weekday between the March 18 NCAA semifinals and the April 1 title game in Dallas.
