LEWISTON, Maine-- No. 22 Bates College, playing its first home match of the 2023-24 campaign, hosted No. 4 Trinity College Saturday as the visiting Bantams blanked the Bobcats, 8-0, in men's squash action.
Trinity (5-0), which has yet to yield a point over its first five outings, swept eight matches against the Bobcats.
Bates junior,
Labeeb Ali, went four games vs. opponent Ahmed Ismail in the No. 3 position. Ali opened the contest with a 12-10 triumph before dropping the final three games to Ismail (4-11, 7-11, 10-12).
The garnet and white (0-3) returns to the Bates Squash Center on Tuesday, Jan. 9 (11:00 a.m.) to host No. 23 Hobart College.
