Meghan Graff was named the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association Co-Player of the Week on Tuesday after leading the Bobcats to a 2-0 mark over the past seven days, shining on both sides of the ball along the way.
Graff (South Portland, Maine) started the week with 19 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals in a 64-61 win over Husson. She followed that up with a game-high 28 points on a season-best 12-19 shooting in an 86-63 win over Saint Joseph's. Graff grabbed a season-high six rebounds, dished out four assists, and matched her career-high with six steals in the victory. Graff is now 5th all-time on the Bates career scoring list.
Rookie
Sophie Spolter (Blacklick, Ohio) earned a spot on the MWBCA's Rookie of the Week "Honor Roll" for her 10 points on 4-5 shooting against Saint Joseph's.
Graff shares the Player of the Week honor with Bowdoin's Sydney Jones. Bates hosts Bowdoin this Thursday at 7pm. Graff is the first Bobcat to earn MWBCA Player of the Week honors since
