Harris Ramlee took his opponent to the maximum five games in a 9-0 loss for No. 21 nationally ranked Bates men's squash to No. 16 Williams Saturday evening.
Ramlee (Malaysia) grabbed a 2-1 lead before his opponent Wyatt Khosrowshahi knotted the match at two apiece. Ramlee fell 11-9 in a tight final game, giving Khosrowshahi a 3-2 (7-11, 11-8, 10-12, 11-2, 11-9) victory at the No. 3 position. The Ephs (2-5) swept six of the nine matches on the day.

Labeeb Ali (Plano, Texas) and junior
Jonathan Walker (Kingston, Jamaica) both won a game in their respective matches, with Ali winning game three 11-1 before falling 11-9 in game four at the No. 5 position. Walker got his match started on the right foot with a 12-10 win in game one at the No. 6 position, before eventually falling in four games.
Bates (1-6) is back in action at No. 24 Middlebury Sunday at 3pm.
