LEWISTON, Maine -- The No. 16 nationally ranked Bates men's squash team swept every match on their way to a 9-0 win over No. 28 Tufts Sunday evening at the Bates College Squash Center.
The Bobcats (12-2) earned their eighth consecutive victory thanks to strong performances from every position on the ladder.
In their final home matches, seniors Ahmed Hatata (Alexandria, Egypt), Darrius Campbell (St. Stephen, S.C.), Spencer Burt (Portland, Ore.) and Carlos Ames (Williamstown, Mass.) emerged victorious for Bates.
Hatata won at the No. 1 position over Alan Litman by a final count of 3-0 (11-2, 11-1, 11-3) and Campbell beat Raghav Kumar 3-0 (11-5, 11-4, 11-5) at the No. 3 position.Â
