Biography
Career: A two-time first team All-NESCAC selection, Bonnell compiled an individual record of 39-46, playing mostly at the No. 1 position for the Bobcats during his final two-plus years on the team.
2019-20: Team captain.... First Team All-NESCAC.... Accumulated a 7-15 individual record while competing at the No. 1 position for Bates.
2018-19: First Team All-NESCAC.... Competed the entire season at the No. 1 position for Bates, finishing with an overall record of 9-14 and advancing to the Molloy East consolation semifinals at College Squash Association individual nationals.... Helped Bates finish fourth in the NESCAC and 21st in the nation.... Video: Courting disaster: Bates squash players teach an SID how to play their sport.
2017-18: Went 9-11 as a sophomore, playing as high as No. 1 while mostly competing at the No. 2 position for Bates.... Competed at Individual Nationals for the first time in his career.... Helped Bates finish second in the NESCAC.... Named NESCAC men's squash player of the week for the first time in his career on Nov. 20, 2017.
2016-17: Went 14-6 as a first-year playing between the No. 4 and No. 8 position in the lineup, with most of his starts coming at the No. 7 position.
