HADLEY, Mass. -- The New England Small College Athletic Conference named Bates senior forward Kim Alexander its Women's Soccer Player of the Week on Monday.
Alexander, a three-time All-NESCAC forward from Cumberland, Maine, scored the game-tying and game-winning goals as Bates handed Williams its first loss of the season, 2-1, on Saturday, in the Bobcats' biggest win this season.
With a team-high eight goals to go with two assists this season, Alexander leads the conference in goals per game (0.89), points per game (2.00) and game-winning goals (four), heading into this afternoon's game against Endicott College.
