Senior captain Morgan Kennedy led the Bobcats in scoring in both games last week, starting with 22 points on 9-18 shooting in a 77-67 win over Maine Maritime Academy on Wednesday. Kennedy's 22 points matched her season-high. She also hit 4-9 from three-point range, grabbed four rebounds, dished out two assists, and recorded a steal in the win.
Then on Sunday, Kennedy tallied 19 points on 7-9 shooting, hitting 4-6 from long distance in a 73-42 win over Connecticut College in the NESCAC opener for Bates. She also grabbed four rebounds and blocked a shot in the 31-point win, the Bobcats' largest margin of victory in a NESCAC game since 2006.
