Patel returned to the Bates women's squash team after a year spent studying abroad and stepped into the No. 1 position in the lineup. She made the most of her first match back, sweeping her opponent from Franklin & Marshall by a count of 3-0 (11-6, 11-5, 11-5) to help the Bobcats defeat the Diplomats by a count of 6-3.
