A Tife Agunloye goal with just two seconds remaining sent the Bobcat faithful into a frenzy Tuesday afternoon as Bates College stunned the University of Maine at Farmington, 2-1, in a non-conference tilt for the ages.

With the match locked in a 1-1 stalemate, Bates goalkeeper Trevor Hammond gloved a long UMaine-Farmington throw-in with 0:20 on the clock. Hammond proceeded to sling an outlet pass to Cesar Hoover, who then booted the ball to the opposing end of the pitch. The feed caught a sprinting Wilson Smith as the sophomore settled, then dished to a trailing Ollie Schiff Stein. The first-year provided a single touch before setting up Agunloye's left-footed, game-winning blast to the top of the UMaine-Farmington frame.

Agunloye leads the Bobcats with four goals on the season.
