Sophomore Margaret Smith (Wilton, Conn.) scored a game-high four goals to lead the No. 21 nationally ranked Bates women's lacrosse team to a 10-8 win at Hamilton on Saturday. 

Smith and teammate senior Sydney Howard each dished out a game-high two assists as well in the victory. 

Smith is tops on the team in goals scored (25) and assists (13) so far this season. Her 38 points lead the entire NESCAC through 10 games.
