Senior Noah Graboys (Glencoe, Ill.) won the 3000 meter run in 8:40.20. He crossed the finish second in the 1 mile run, clocking in at 4:18.72 while junior John Stansel (Newburyport, Mass.) finished third in the mile (4:21.78).

Bates senior Noah Graboys pulled off an impressive feat on the indoor track at Bowdoin College on Friday night, in the 46th edition of the Maine State Indoor Men's Track and Field Championship. 

Graboys (Wilmette, Ill.) began by placing second in the mile in 4:18.72, a time that puts him 23rd on the national performance list for Division III. Graboys followed that by placing first in the 3,000 meters in 8:40.20.

The 18 points Graboys scored for Bates contributed to the team's total of 174, which was 27 more than runner-up Bowdoin. The team win was the second in a row for the Bobcats at the state indoor meet, and widened their lead in all-time team titles over the Polar Bears, 12-10.
