James finished 14th out of 67 competitors to lead the Bates women's Nordic team to a 5th place finish in the 5K freestyle race Saturday at the NCAA Regionals.

James finished the race with a time of 13:05.1, good for 28 carnival points and 18 NCAA points. 

On Sunday, she capped off an excellent carnival weekend with a 12th place finish out of 68 competitors in the women's 15K classical technique. James clocked in at 45:11.6, earning 30 carnival points and 22 NCAA points.
