Playing at the No. 1 position, first-year Kristyna Alexova (Boskovice, Czech Republic) went 3-0 at nationals over the weekend to help the Bobcats take home their first Walker Cup in program history. She swept all three of her opponents this weekend and has won 12 consecutive matches overall. 

On Friday, Alexova swept St. Lawrence's Jillian Banker 3-0 (11-7, 11-9, 11-7) in the quarterfinals. She followed that up by sweeping Bowdoin's Sarah Nelson 3-0 (11-9, 11-7, 11-9) on Saturday in the semifinals. Then she clinched the Walker Cup title with a 3-0 (11-7, 11-3, 11-5) sweep of Amherst's Rachael Ang on Sunday.
