On Friday, the Lynnfield, Mass., native won the hammer throw with a personal-best toss of 57.72 meters (189 feet, 4 inches) on his third attempt. Enos now stands in ninth on Bates’ top-10 list in the discipline, 17 inches behind Peter Goodrich ’89 and three feet ahead of Joseph Welch ’94.

The St. John’s Prep product took first in the shot put on Saturday behind a career-best heave of 17.13 meters (56 feet, 2.5 inches) on his second effort. Enos won the event by more than six feet and moved from fifth to second on Bates’ all-time performance list, passing Dustin Gauthier ’04, Ethan Waldman ’11, and Chris Murtagh ’11. He came in second in the discus behind a throw of 160 feet, 1 inch.
