The Bates women's swimming and diving team completed an undefeated season in head-to-head competition against NESCAC opponents on Saturday, outscoring Connecticut College as well as host Wellesley College on Saturday. Bates outscored the NESCAC rival Camels 163-125 and the host Blue by a 203-92 score. The Bobcats won eight out of nine dual-meet competitions on the year, with the only loss coming against Division I Maine.

Out of a slew of other standout performances, Bates first-year Logan McGill (Dallas, Texas) stood out for winning two individual events and one relay while also setting a team record in the 50-yard butterfly. McGill swam the 50 fly in 26.16 seconds, after also winning the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.29 seconds, just 0.25 off of the school mark. The former team record in the 50 fly was 26.28, set by Emilie Geissinger '14 a year ago.

The Bates women finished off the day with a 3.28-second win in the 200 free relay. McGill, junior Caroline Depew (Hudson, Ohio), first-year Anabel Carter (Camden, Maine) and sophomore Sara Daher (Marblehead, Mass.) finished the race in 1:38.64.
