At last weekend's NESCAC Championships, junior captain Jeffrey Jones (College Station, Ga.) set a personal record and moved into second place on Bates' all-time performance list in the triple jump with a top effort of 47 feet, 1.5 inches.

Overall, the Bates men's track and field team won three events en route to fourth place out of 11 teams on Saturday. Bates has placed among the top four at the NESCAC championship meet for 17 consecutive years.
