Senior Ahmed Hatata ran his individual season record to 10-1 with two 3-0 victories over his opponents from Franklin & Marshall and Amherst this weekend, playing at the top spot for the Bobcats. On Saturday, Hatata helped the Bobcats defeat the 13th ranked Diplomats for the first time since 2009, by posting a 3-0 (12-10, 11-5, 11-7) win over Cole Osborne and followed up that result with a 3-0 (11-3,11-9, 11-2) victory over Amherst's Michael Groot to help lift Bates to a 8-1 win over the 20th ranked Purple and White on Sunday at Amherst.
