Sophomore Bo Underhill just missed a second top-10 performance in what's been a terrific rookie season, finishing in a tie for 11th out of 69 alpine skiers in the slalom Friday at Dartmouth. The event was a make-up date after the cancellation of the UVM Carnival and the Dartmouth GS. 

Underhill (Newbury, N.H.) raced down the hill at the Dartmouth Skiway in a two-run combined time of 1:43.28. After an opening run of 54.37, he chopped nearly six seconds off his time with a second run of 48.91, earning 24 NCAA points. 

Then led the Bates men's alpine skiing team to a sixth place showing in the slalom on Saturday.

Underhill placed 13th out of 71 men's skiers with a two-run combined time of 1.41.52, earning 29 carnival points and 20 NCAA points.
