Donohue played all 140 minutes in goal this weekend for the Bobcats and recorded 22 saves on her way to back-to-back shutouts.Â
On Saturday, she stopped 11 Middlebury shots and proceeded to deny four of their five attempts in the shootout as Bates prevailed in the NESCAC semifinal by a score of 1-0, winning the shootout 2-1.Â
Then on Sunday, she once again stopped 11 shots as the Bobcats defeated Wesleyan 2-0 in the NESCAC championship game, winning the first NESCAC title in program history.Â
Donohue's save percentage on the season is at .816, tied for the best mark in the NESCAC. Her five shutouts are also tops in the conference as Bates became the first team in the 26-year history of the NESCAC tournament to record three shutouts on their way to the title.Â
