What does leadership mean to you?
Leadership means showing up for others and making an immense effort to understand everyone you wish to have an impact on by setting a positive example through your own actions.

What experience—big or small—has made a surprising impact on you?
Being a part of my neighborhood swim team for the past 14 years had a surprising impact by teaching me how important it is to be involved in your community. As a young member of the team I learned the important life skill of swimming and when I was older I was able to coach and give back to my community.

What’s a value or principle you try to live by?
I believe integrity is one of the most important values that I live by. To me, integrity means having a very strong moral compass and doing the right thing all the time even when no one is watching.

What’s something about you that might surprise people?
I used to be an actress when I was younger and really enjoyed theater and had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
