Biography

Career Statistics

Knoth finished his career with 20 goals and 12 assists in 42 games, winning the team's Bob Lanza Golden Boot award three times as the Bobcats' leading scorer. Highlighting his senior season, Knoth scored the game-winning goal in overtime as Bates upset No. 15 nationally ranked Middlebury. Prior to enrolling at Bates, Knoth played for GPS Portland Phoenix under Bates head coach Stewart Flaherty.

2016: Selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League Division III All-Star Game.... Started all 15 matches at forward.... Scored three goals and dished out two assists on the season.... Tallied two assists in Bates' 3-0 win over Maine-Farmington (Sept. 7).... Scored two goals, including the game-winner, in Bates' 7-0 win over Maine Maritime (Oct. 16).... Scored the game-winning goal in Bates' 3-2 victory over Middlebury (Oct. 22). 

2015: Bob Lanz Golden Boot Award.... Appeared in 13 matches for Bates, starting 12.... Scored a team-leading six goals on the season, including two game-winners.... Scored the game-winning goal in Bates' 2-0 season-opening win over Newbury (Sept. 8).... Scored a goal in Bates' 2-0 win at Hamilton (Sept. 12).... Tallied a hat trick (three goals) in Bates' 6-0 win over the University of New England (Sept. 17).... Scored the game-winning goal in double overtime in Bates' 2-1 win at Williams (Sept. 27).

2014: Started all 15 games for the Bobcats, one of five players to do so...scored a team-high five goals (T-12 in NESCAC)...recorded team-high four assists (T-9th in NESCAC)...scored game-winning goal in overtime vs. Connecticut College (Oct. 4).... voted All-NESCAC Second Team.... named team MVP second consecutive year.... received Bob Lantz Award.

2013: Named NESCAC Second Team All-Conference.... Started all 14 games, one of two players to do so.... Ranked third in the NESCAC in points (18), tied for third in goals (six), and second in assists (six); led Bates in all three categories.... Stood second on the team with 24 shots on the year.... Scored two goals at Colby (Oct. 30).... Registered a goal and an assist in his collegiate debut vs. Maine Maritime (Sept. 3).... Notched goals vs. Amherst (Sept. 29) and Bowdoin (Oct. 6).... Posted four points on a goal and two assists against USM (Oct. 16).... Earned the team's Rookie of the Year and Golden Boot award.

Before Bates: Led high school to the Maine Class C State championship in 2011.... Earned all-conference, all-region, all-Western Maine, and all-state honors twice.... Gained Class C Player of the Year accolades as a junior.... Played club for the Portland Phoenix.
