What does leadership mean to you?
Leadership in my mind means setting a standard, not just in how I play, but in how I support, motivate, and hold myself and others accountable. It’s about showing up every day with intensity and focus, and creating an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

What experience—big or small—has made a surprising impact on you?
Volunteering with the Rosati Leadership Academy started as just a way to give back to my community. I never expected it to become one of the most meaningful and formative experiences of my college life. I worked with elementary and middle school students from underrepresented backgrounds, using soccer not just as a game, but as a tool for mentorship, discipline, connection, and self-confidence. The kids brought so much
energy, curiosity, and heart to every session. They reminded me how powerful it is to truly listen, and how much joy and strength can come from being part of a supportive community.

What’s a failure or setback that taught you something valuable?
When I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in my jaw during high school, I learned not to take anything for granted: my health, my voice, or the people around me. This experience permanently altered my approach to life and relationships, shaping how I want to live. It instilled in me a deeper sense of empathy and determination that now
guides everything I do.

What’s a value or principle you try to live by?
One of the core principles I live by is leading by example and treating everyone I encounter with respect and kindness. These values are not just beliefs; they are choices I strive to embody every day in my interactions and behavior. Whether I am on the soccer field, volunteering in the community, or supporting a friend, I strive for people to
feel valued and encouraged. I do my best to be present for those around me, especially during their challenging times.

I played seven sports growing up.
