Career Statistics

Martell played for Seacoast United in the Professional Development League and won three State Cups before enrolling at Bates. The defender played in 38 games for the Bobcats in his career, scoring one goal and playing center back in 12 shutout efforts. Martell missed his junior season after undergoing shoulder surgery.

2016: Selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League Division III All-Star Game.... Started 11 matches on defense for Bates.... Took three shots on the year.

2015: Missed entire season due to injury.

2014: Started in 13 games...scored a goal in a 9-0 win over Newbury College (Oct. 1)...recorded an assist (Sept. 20) in a 2-1 loss to Wesleyan.

2013: Played in all 14 games.... Made 13 starts as a center back.... Recorded 10 shots on the year.... Helped the team record five shutouts as a team.

Before Bates: Earned four varsity letters with Gray-New Gloucester.... Captained G-NG as a senior.... Picked up all-conference, all-region, and all-state accolades in 2012.... Played club for Seacoast United Maine, leading the team to six straight state titles.
