2011: Named to the NESCAC Men's LacrosseAll-Conference Second Team.... With three defenders being named tothe All-NESCAC First and Second Teams, Helm was essentiallyrecognized as one of the top six defenders in the conference....Helm, a team captain, led the Bobcats in ground balls with 50. Inthe four games Bates played during season in which caused turnoverswere recorded, Helm was credited with 13, eight more than any otherplayer on the Bobcats.... Among his finest performances werecollecting five ground balls in a 12-7 win over Wesleyan; sixcaused turnovers and four ground balls in a 9-5 loss to ConnecticutCollege; and six ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 6-5loss to Trinity....
