Football Game Day Feature: The Hogs

2024: Named to College Sports Communicators Football Academic All-District® Team.... NESCAC Fall All-Academic selection.... Started all nine games at tackle as a sophomore for the Bobcats.... Helped block for a Bates rushing attack that averaged 191.4 yards per game, tops in the NESCAC and 37th in all of NCAA Division III.... Twice this year, following wins over Wesleyan and Middlebury, the Bates offensive line was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.... McDonald and the rest of the "Hogs" up front helped block for a season-high 392 rushing yards against Bowdoin and a season-high 173 passing yards against Middlebury. 

2023: Saw action in all nine games as a first-year on the offensive line for Bates.... Helped Bates achieve a season-high 319 passing yards against Colby (Sept. 30) and a season-high 121 rushing yards against Middlebury (Oct. 21).

Minor: Education

Personal: 2023 graduate of Marist School (Ga.) where he competed in football and basketball.

I lead wilderness canoe trips in Maine all summer for Winona Camps for Boys.
