Leadership means to hold yourself and others accountable, being a role model for others, and putting yourself and others in a position to win.

What experience—big or small—has made a surprising impact on you?
Injuries have made a huge impact on me as I’ve had to go through the recovery process, which ultimately led me to decide to pursue a career in the medical field.

What’s a failure or setback that taught you something valuable?
Injuries have taught me to take it all in because at any point, it can all go away.

What’s something about you that might surprise people?
I was a black belt in karate when I was in 6th grade.
