Bates College

The 2019 season marked Tino Lopes’ fourth year on the Bates staff. After coaching quarterbacks and dive backs in 2016 and 2017, Coach Lopes worked with the defensive line in 2018 and now guides the Bobcat offensive line.

In 2015, Coach Lopes served as running backs coach at Amherst College and helped lead Amherst to an 8-0 season and the outright NESCAC championship.

Coach Lopes played four years on the defensive line at Becker College before graduating in 2011 with a degree in exercise science. He then earned his Masters of Physical Education: Athletic Administration from Springfield College in 2016.

Lopes coached quarterbacks and wide receivers at Becker College in 2012 before serving as a graduate assistant, defensive line coach, and co-interim defensive coordinator at Springfield College in 2013 and 2014.
