What does leadership mean to you?
Holding yourself to the same standard you hold others to. Leadership is not about being the "top dog", it’s about leading others in a way that motivates. You should never view yourself as being above anyone else. Always motivate others to be the best version of themselves that they can be.

What experience—big or small—has made a surprising impact on you?
Going on mission trips to Uganda, Africa has really put how good we have life here in America into perspective. Everyone over there always has a smile on their face even though they are living in mud huts and have to walk miles to get clean water, whereas I can walk 10 feet to my fridge to get water. It’s hard going to that environment and
coming back and living life like you always do, but it really helped me become very thankful for the life I am able to live.

What’s a value or principle you try to live by?
Never do anything with half effort. Everything you do should be to the best of your ability, regardless of if someone is better at that specific thing than you. You may not always be the best at something, but one thing you can always do is give effort.
