Biography

2025: Named second team All-NESCAC and second team All-State on the heels of a season that saw him lead Bates in OPS (on-base plus slugging percentage) at .888 while slashing .278/.349/.539.... His seven home runs were the most by a Bobcat since Nate Pajka '15 smacked eight long balls in 2015 and the most by a Bates rookie since Pajka started his career with seven homers in 2012.... Swift also led the Bobcats with 28 RBIs.... Some of Swift's biggest performances included going 2-3 with a home run, two runs scored, three RBIs, a walk, and a stolen base against RPI (March 9).... 2-4 with a double and an RBI against MIT (March 22).... going 4-10 with three runs scored, five RBIs, a home run, and two walks in a three-game sweep of Bard (April 18-19).... hitting for the cycle and driving in seven runs in a 25-4 win over Thomas College (April 22).... going 2-3 with a home run and three RBIs against Trinity (April 24).... and going 3-5 with two home runs and four RBIs against the University of Southern Maine (April 30).... In addition to his strong hitting, Swift played an outstanding first base for the Bobcats this year, making just one error in 244 chances. 

Personal: 2024 graduate of Yarmouth High School where he competed in baseball, golf, and ice hockey.
