A 2016 graduate of Thomas College, Isiah Fleming joined the Bates baseball coaching staff in 2022. He served as an assistant coach for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Fleming served as Colby College's pitching coach in 2017, helping the Mules achieve a team ERA of 4.06, the fourth best in the NESCAC and the program's best mark in the last seven years. He also coached the pitchers at the University of Maine-Farmington in 2018 before assisting at Madison High School in 2019.
A member of the American Baseball Coaches Association, Fleming earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and minored in Coaching at Thomas. He makes his home in Winslow, Maine.
