Major: African American Studies 2012: Played in and started seven games ... helped pave the way for a rushing attack that amassed 2,056 yards (233.5 yards per game) and averaged 4.4 yards per rush on the season ... earned the Robert P. Schmidt Award for courage. 2011: Missed entire season with an injury, but stayed closely involved with the team as a coaching assistant. 2010: In his first season playing on the offensive line for Bates, Weston earned Second Team All-NESCAC honors at left tackle. The only Maine native on either all-conference squad, Weston's play at left tackle was instrumental in Bates’ establishing an improved running game. The Bobcats ran for 106 yards per game in 2010, sixth-best in the NESCAC, up from 57.9 yards per game in 2009, which ranked ninth. Weston also played a key role in the Bobcats limiting their sacks-allowed total to drop from 31 in 2009 to 16 in 2010. 2009: Started all eight games at H-back for the Bobcats, totaling four receptions for 29 yards and one touchdown. Other Bates activities: Three-year letter-winner on the Bates men's basketball team. Registered career-high 15 rebounds against Bowdoin on Feb. 20, 2010 and scored a career-high 11 points against UMaine-Farmington on Dec. 7, 2010 and against Ripon on Dec. 29, 2009.
