2008: Made appearances in two games againstWesleyan and Middlebury at linebacker.... Recipient of the RitterFootball/Academic Award.

Other Activities, Organizations, etc.: As afirst-year student in 2007, Pedraza was what was then called aHughes Summer Scholar, and is now referred to as Bates SummerScholars program, an accelerated introduction to the sciences andmath at Bates. Open to 10 entering first-year students, the programseeks to build a community of science scholars from among a diversegroup of incoming first-years.

High School: Honor Student.... Football captainfor two years.... Lettered in both lacrosse and wrestling as wellas football.
