2008: Started all eight games at tight end forthe Bobcats.... Ranked second on the team in receiving with 240yards on 28 receptions, including one touchdown catch in a winagainst Colby on October 24.... Made six receptions for 80yards in a win against Hamilton on November 8.

2007: Scored team-high four touchdowns....Fourth on team in receiving, averaging 19.6 yards per game on 14receptions.... Ninth on team in all-purpose yards, averaging 19.6per game.... Against Hamilton in the season closer, BrandonColon hit Wirth with a fade pass into the corner of the endzone for a 2-yard touchdown to tie the score with 1:22 remaining inthe third quarter; Wirth had four catches for 41 yards in thegame.... Made four receptions against Hamilton for 41 yards,including a 30-yarder, and four against Bowdoin for 36yards, including a17-yarder.

Other Bates Activities: Wirth is a two-yearletterwinner on the Bates men's basketball team, after playing hisfreshman season as a student at Johnson & Wales University....In 50 games playing center with the Bobcats, Wirth has collected217 points and 225 rebounds. Wirth earned All-Tournament honors inthe 2009 Springfield College Holiday Inn/Naismith Classic, with 19points and 15 rebounds over two games.

High School: First Team All-State defensivelineman.... Lettered in football, basketball and golf.
