MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Bates women's soccer traveled to No. 7 Wesleyan on Saturday and fell 3-1 to the Cardinals in NESCAC play.
Bates (2-3-1, 0-3 NESCAC) and Wesleyan (7-1, 3-1 NESCAC) played to a scoreless draw through the first half before the Cardinals scored three times in the second half to take control of the match.
Junior captain
Gwyn Jamison (Steamboat Springs, Colo.) got the Bobcats on the board in the 85th minute, scoring her second goal of the season.
Senior goalkeeper
Sydney Litney (Schaumburg, Ill.) made seven saves for Bates.
The Bobcats return home on September 29th when they host in-state rival Bowdoin at 7 p.m. on Russell St. Field.
