HADLEY, Mass. -- 204 student-athletes from Bates College's varsity spring teams have received NESCAC All-Academic honors, announced Wednesday by the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
A conference record 1,800-plus student-athletes have been named to the 2026 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale. Transfers must have completed one year of study at an institution. Lists of All-Academic honorees were provided by the athletic departments at each institution. The cumulative GPA on record from the previous semester was used to determine eligibility.

Phillippe Kosyagin (men's tennis),
Isabelle Martin (women's rowing),
Delaney Rankin (softball),
Teddy Rosen (men's lacrosse),
Olivia Smith (women's rowing),
Gibby Sullivan (baseball) and
John Tully (baseball)Â also collected All-NESCAC honors in their respective sport this season.
Theo Sardain, senior captain of the men's tennis team, was one of 11 NESCAC spring-sport student-athletes to earn selection to the NESCAC All-Academic, All-Conference, and All-Sportsmanship teams.
