NEW LONDON, Conn.-- Bates women's soccer traveled to Connecticut College on Saturday and fell to the Camels, 1-0, in NESCAC play.
Connecticut College (4-5-1, 2-4-1 NESCAC) scored in the 11th minute, and the early goal proved to be the difference as the Camels secured the 1-0 victory. The two teams played an evenly matched contest, with both squads recording 14 shots. Bates (5-4-1, 2-4 NESCAC) put eight shots on goal, while Connecticut College recorded seven.

Sydney Litney played all 90 minutes in net for the Bobcats, making six saves.
Bates returns home Monday to begin a four-game homestand, starting with the University of Maine at Farmington in its final non-conference game of the season. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Russell Street Field.
