LEWISTON, Maine --The Bates College women's lacrosse team put on an offensive clinic Wednesday evening, cruising past the University of New England 21-1 at Garcelon Field. The Bobcats (5-1) displayed their depth and versatility, with 11 different players finding the back of the net in a convincing performance.
Senior attacker
Laci Raveis led the charge with four goals and one assist, while
Grace Cassin,
Caroline Keating, and
Lucy Taylor each recorded hat tricks. The Bobcats wasted no time setting the tone, scoring six unanswered goals in the first quarter and taking an 11-0 lead into halftime.

Jenna Trafford with 35 shots, forcing her to make 10 saves. Meanwhile, Bates' netminders
Raegan White and
Molly Urbonas combined for eight saves, limiting the Nor'easters (1-4) to just 13 shots overall. White moves to 5-1 in frame with the win.
The Bobcats were efficient on free-position opportunities as well, converting four of eight attempts.
Lucy Taylor contributed four points with a pair of goals and helpers.
Lauren Wong added two goals and an assist while
Julia Roelofs also sent in two scores.
With the victory, Bates extended their winning streak to five games. The garnet and white will look to maintain their form when they travel to No. 1 Middlebury Saturday at noon in NESCAC play.
