HOPKINTON, N.H. -- Five Bobcats earned USTFCCCA All-East Region honors with Top-35 finishes Saturday as Bates men's cross country placed fourth out of 32 teams at the NCAA East Regional Championship, held at Hopkinton Fair Grounds.
Jack Crum (Jr.),
Nathaniel Aronson (Jr.),
Max Hoffman (So.),
Ross Tejeda (Sr.), and
Campbell MacDonald (Jr.) each earned their first All-Region accolades as the garnet and white tallied 124 points in its fourth-place showing.
MIT repeated as regional champs with 42 points as a squad. Tufts followed in second place, just behind the Engineers, with 49. Colby College secured third-place as the Mules mustered 104 points on the day.
Crum (25:07) and Aronson (25:08) finished a mere one second apart on the 8K course as the duo finished in 16th and 17th place, respectively. Hoffman and Tejada crossed the line with matching times of 25:32 to finish neck-and-neck at 29th and 30th place.

MacDonald, with a 32nd-place mark of 25:38, rounded out the Bobcats' All-Region recognition, while sophomore
Nate Roberts (36th, 25:51) and junior
Miles Logan (40th, 26:00) completed Saturday's entries for Bates.
Bates now awaits its fate regarding the 2025 NCAA Championships. The 22 at-large team bids and individual bids will be announced on Sunday on
NCAA.com.
