LEWISTON, Maine -- The Bates swimming and diving program welcomed NCAA Division I opponent Dartmouth to town on Saturday, giving the Big Green a run for their money in a dual meet at Tarbell Pool.
The Dartmouth men's team tallied 132 points to Bates' 73 points, while the Big Green women's squad outscored the Bobcats by a count of 151-53.
"The scores aren't nearly as close as the meet felt," Bates head coach
Peter Casares said. "There were lots of close races for first, second, and third - and the coaching staff couldn't have asked for a better start to the winter semester."
