Henry Ehrlich shot rounds of 79 and 81 over the weekend to pace the Bates men's golf team and tie for 24th out of 49 competitors at the Trinity Invitational.
Ehrlich (Portland, Ore.) finished with a two-day score of 160 in the Bobcats' first tune-up for the NESCAC Championships, being hosted by Bates April 29-30 at Martindale Country Club. Bates shot 655 as a team over the course of two days, improving by five strokes from Saturday to Sunday.
Junior
Evan Glicos (Windham, Maine) had the low round of the tournament for Bates with his 78 on Sunday. Bates finished in 10th, three strokes back of Western New England.
The Bobcats are back in action this Saturday and Sunday at the Williams Spring Invitational.
