FARMINGTON, Maine -- Four Bobcats scored in double figures and the Bates women's basketball team picked up an 84-50 over the University of Maine-Farmington in a road contest Tuesday night.
Bates (8-7) scored the first 20 points of the game and led the Beavers (2-13) by 14 at the end of the first quarter.
Junior
Morgan Kennedy (Oklahoma City, Okla.) led all scorers Tuesday with 22 points on 8-15 shooting. She knocked down 5-11 from three-point range. Senior captain
Meghan Graff (South Portland, Maine) finished with 21 points on 9-11 shooting, leaving her 15 points shy of the Bates all-time career scoring record.

Elsa Daulerio (Harpswell, Maine) recorded the first double-double of her collegiate career, tallying 12 points and a game-high 11 rebounds for Bates. First-year
Danielle Adams (Southborough, Mass.) matched her season-high with 10 points on 4-9 shooting.
A Graff layup with 5:19 left in the first quarter put the Bobcats up 20-0. Maddy White got the Beavers on the board with a three-pointer with five minutes remaining and Grace Dwyer cut the deficit to 24-10 on a three-pointer with 57 seconds left.
That's as close as the Beavers got the rest of the way, as Bates went up 42-22 at halftime. The Bobcats led by as many as 35 points in the second half.
Dwyer paced UMF with 17 points on 6-12 shooting.
The Bobcats are back in action at Tufts in NESCAC play Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
