Lewiston, Maine - The fall-themed 'Cats Carnival, hosted by Bates College Athletics, returns after a two-year hiatus this Saturday just before the Bates Football home opener vs. Tufts at 1:30 p.m. on Garcelon Field. Bates Athletics hosted its first 'Cats Carnival back in 2019, but has not been able to put on the event since due to the pandemic.

The carnival features bounce houses, face painting, poster making, a prize wheel, concessions, and games for kids of all ages. Bates student-athletes will volunteer at the family-friendly event. The 'Cats Carnival is free and open to the public. Bates Athletics invites community members to join the fun and to cheer on the Bobcats in all their home contests. Admission to all games is free.

Location: The carnival will take place at 130 Central Avenue next to the Garcelon Field stands and Commons.

Parking: Free parking is available in the Merrill Gym parking lot.

Tailgate: 9:30 a.m.
