Anna Rozin won a dramatic third set tiebreaker to highlight the women's tennis team's match against NCAA Division II school Florida Southern Saturday afternoon.
The Bobcats (0-2) ended up falling 6-1 to the Mocs (2-2) to conclude their early season Florida trip.
Rozin dropped her first set at No. 1 singles before rallying to prevail 3-6, 6-2, 10-6 over Florida Southern's Laura Vetter.
Elsewhere, first-year
Ava Lyon (Naples, Fla.) more than held her own at No. 6 singles, falling 6-3, 7-5 to Vivien Charvatova.
Bates returns to action next Saturday at 11am when the Bobcats visit Mount Holyoke. The match gets underway at 11am.
