Career: One of 89 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better. 

2022-23: Team captain.... Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... Named to the College Sports Communicators Women's Tennis Academic All-District® Team.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Went 11-12 in doubles and 11-10 in singles as a senior.... Played at No. 1 doubles with Ally Friedman '24 all season.... Teamed with Friedman to advance to the finals of the Wallach Invitational in the fall.... The duo also advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA New England Championship.... Atwater and Friedman won five of six matches in the middle of the season, including wins over teams from No. 8 Tufts and No. 6 Middlebury.... Ended the year strong with an 8-6 victory over a team from Trinity College (April 16).... In singles play, Atwater earned a 6-1, 6-1 win over an opponent from Endicott at No. 1 in the lineup in the fall (Oct. 17).... Atwater played mostly at No. 2 singles in the spring, with some appearances at No. 1.... Won seven of eight matches in the middle of the spring season at No. 2 singles, including wins over opponents from No. 8 Tufts, No. 13 Williams, No. 21 Hamilton, and No. 7 Amherst, earning a promotion to the No. 1 spot in the lineup.... Won back-to-back matches at the end of the season at No. 1 singles over opponents from Connecticut College and Trinity.

2021-22: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Went 9-11 in singles and 7-15 doubles while playing near the top of the lineup for the Bobcats.... Earned wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 2 singles to help the Bobcats defeat Hamilton 5-4, clinching the program's first bid to the NESCAC Championships (May 1).... Earned a 7-6 (3), 6-1 win at No. 2 singles against her opponent from Colby College (April 16).... Went undefeated at singles and doubles in a weekend sweep of Trinity and Connecticut College (April 2-3).... Earned a 1-6, 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles against opponent from No. 15 nationally ranked Williams (March 12).

2020-21: Went 2-2 in both doubles and singles play in an abbreviated season for the Bobcats.

2019-20: Went 5-1 in singles play in an abbreviated season for the Bobcats.... Clinched a 5-4 victory for Bates over Wellesley with a three-set (6-1, 2-6, 6-4) win at No. 5 singles (March 7).... Helped Bates defeat Mount Holyoke with a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 6 singles (Feb. 29).... Helped Bates defeat Wheaton (Mass.) with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles (Feb. 28).... Earned a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles against her opponent from NCAA Division II Rollins College (Feb. 20).... Helped Bates defeat NCAA Division II opponent Franklin Pierce with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 5 singles (Oct. 13).
